Welcome!
The Quittapahilla Watershed Association is
dedicated to improving the water quality of the watershed and making the community
aware of the watershed's importance.
The Quittapahilla Watershed includes the Quittapahilla
Creek, Bachman Run, Beck Creek, Brandywine Creek, Killinger Creek, which includes
Buckholder Run and Gingrich Run, and Snitz Creek. In all, it covers 49,472 acres.
The Quittapahilla Creek flows into the Swatara Creek, which flows into the Susquehanna
River and eventually into the Chesapeake Bay.
Teachers take note: the Quittapahilla Educational Wetland Preserve is ready to be
discovered and explored!
